Quietest Internal Filter?

Hi,
What is the quietest internal filter for my 48 litre Fishpod? The PF1 that comes with the tank hums a little even though I've adjusted the cable so it's not vibrating against the lid. Any suggestions?

the U series by fluval are quiet. My U3 can not be heard. Think the U1 or possibly the U2 would be suitable for your tank.

I have a U2 and it's virtually silent.

i have a cheap fluval 2 plus, and its really quiet, cant really hear it at all.

Agree with the above. I have the Fluval U1 in my 48L fishpod. It is completely silent (to my ears anyway). I am understocked though, if you want to fully stock your tank you may be better off with the U2.

Thanks to all who replied. Does anyone else have a problem with an Interpet PF1 humming? Is there any way to reduce the hum?

Can't help with the humming, i think it's just how they're constructed that produces the hum, i.e. gaps and space etc. I have the U3 also and it is totally silent. Also have the older 4 plus series and it too is silent. I really rate the fluval filters mate, i have 3 and all of them run perfectly.
