Quick Starfish Query

probably been asked many times but


which ones better ........ marbled star, blue linkia, or a red/orange star perhaps a linkia. or a sand sifter.


o and what do the star fish tend to eat, i got told its not algae, so what would one eat?

Marbled star, if by this you mean a Fromia, is the best. They still need a large amount of rock and like other grazing stars they can't really be fed. The true dietary needs are poorly understood, but it's probably bacteria or slightly larger organisms.

you forgot serpant star... maybe on purpose lol but i recommend them as there so much easier to feed and you can actually see it eating so u know its doing ok.
