Is it true that a higher pH will increase a Firemouths color? Someone told me those so i bought some Texan Holley Rock from my LFS and that same day my FM drastically changed. He is now very brightly colored. Is this because the Texan Holley Rock increases PH, or something else?
Thanks,
Dave

This is my fish btw

I am not really sure. I have not heard that theory before. My firemouths tend to get darker and more vibrant when they are p*&&^# off at something. I have also heard that they will get more vibrant during mating, so maybe you're going to hear the pitter patter of little fins soon. :kana:
