Quick Heater Question

Hi all,

Well, I'v finally got my 30"x12"x18" tank filled, and found I had an old 100W spare heater, well I had to pop into argos to get another extension lead, so rather than mail ordering a 200W, I bought the 100W in the argos catalogue.

This should be enough for this tank right? (its being heated to keep it stable at 20'C - nothing trpoical per'se) for my white clouds, pitbull and snails.

BTW the 100W heater from argos is a lovely compact thing for being 100W! with inbuild guard too.

Depends on the room temperature, but it's likely to do just fine.

how many litres is your tank, 1 watt should heat 1 litre. But the heater and the fish will probably be fine

Hi there the tank is 106L.. so yep, I think its fine thanks! (room temp is about 16'C and desired temp 20-22 (well 18-22 tbh but heaters cant keep it that low)
