Quick Cycle ?

As I have a pond in the garden, could I put some media from my pond into my new tropical filter to cycle my tropical tank ?

I don't think there's anything wrong with doing this. I say go for it. I can't see any problems

Yes, you can.. I would warm it up slowly though.
