Are they too young to tell?

Anyone? Thinking they are both males unfortunately. Sorry for putting this in the wrong topic, just needed a quick answer!

Even if they are both males, won't make a difference. They are gregarious by nature and like to be in groups, only breaking from the group to spawn and guard their fry.

Just needing to know since I'm looking for a M F pair, and it would have been a pain to dig out one of them to switch it out for a female. Too late anyways, already in the tank.
So, genders?

Males and females are almost identical. The best way to tell is if they are old enough, females will have a squareish looking breeding tube, and males will have a pointed one. If you post pics after they are a bit settled and they are about 2" someone might be able to tell.

They're actually about 2 inches now. I'll get some better pictures once they are settled. Thanks!
