Questions

I know they say not to put guppies in with bettas, but if your betta is a girl it might work. My uncle has a 10 gallon with 2 golden do-jo loachs (waiting for them to grow) 2 smaller loachs I do not remember what they are called, 2 adult guppies with at least 10 fry. They have al lived in that tank for 3 months now and is as happy as can be. :)

Coriadora Catfish are great for any size tank with a Betta. In a 10 gallon you can put 4 in there. Try to get a few females as they will lay eggs on the side of the tank that are like Candy to the Bettas. They are also good at cleaning the bottom of the tank. I only once had a problem with a female and a Cory. She didn't like Him eating HIS food because to her, ALL FOOD IN THE TANK IS MINE MINE MINE MINE. So I had to seperate them cuz she wouldn't let the poor guy eat.

One thing about the female Bettas: They sure put a bigger priority on food then the males.

^^ the only cories that are ok to live in a 10gal are the dwarf variety and you could have 6-8 of these. Normal sized cories get too big

Thanks for all the help guys my dad bought already bought the sarpae tetras and won't take them back so I am making his own tank it is gonna be a divided 5 gallon

With another betta

Females you might get away with, Males i wouldn't think, if you have another tank to seperate him to if they don't get on it should be ok
