My betta lived for like... 3 years maybe four I cant remember, and he died when my obnoxious cat knocked the bowl over one night and died the next day probably from stress and damage. I noticed after time as it grew older there was a white dot on his eye. Sometimes he seemed as if he was blind and he couldn't find his food. Does anyone know about this mystery? LOL Because normally he ate his food in a second. Just wondering.

your betta lived for a long time and was weakening. your cat knocking him over probably threw him over the edge. as bettas get older, their eyesight gets worse. i have a betta with a tumor on his eye that is white at the tip-im not sure if thats what yours had.
you obviously took very good care of your fish and you should be glad he lived a long healthy life.
