I'm curious...for all the people who keep large fish.

What do you guys do with your fish when they die? Do you bury them, throw them out, cook them lol, etc.?

haven't had a big fish die on me but it would probable just get buried.

a guy on another forum decided to cremate his arowana.

I would bury them, thats what i do with all my pets, and trust me the amount of fish i have lost due to lack of experience when i started, i have my very own cemetary in the garden

:rip:

Pet sematary!!!!!!! Yur Arrowana will come back and kill everyone :p

Wrap them in paper and throw them in the bin (garbage).

If I had any fish burried out in the backyard I would be afraid my dogs would dig them up a few days after or racoons would dig them up or something...then when I go out for a swim and glance over in the yard there is "bob" the arrowana.

PS I don't have an arrowana named bob, I was using that as an example. ;) :p

Havent had to bury any big fish, but most of my smaller fish I have just dug a small hole for and put them in. Shows more respect than just throwing them away. I do have to say though I have chucked away a couple of neon tetras.... I dont have much love for tetra anymore :(

Ben

I freeze them until garbage day, then I throw them out with the trash.
