Question About White Spots On Aquarium Glass

a colony of small white looking spots have appeaed on my glass. there about 1/8 of an inch in diameter. i just was wondering if anyone knew what they were and if there good or bad.
they kinda look like a swirl with a little fether duster at the end at extreamly close view. when i disturb them they retract like feather dusters but i have no feather dusters in my tank?

Looks like you have Spirorbid worms. I have plenty of those too. They are harmless.
