My platy just had 9 fry. I have the fry in a 10 gallon tank by themselves. I turned of the filter because I think the fry will get suck up by the filter. Is this a good thing to do? This tank also has a air pump to put oxygen in the water. If anyone can give me some helpful tips on raising fry... feel free.

You can hook that air pump up to a sponge filter rather then the air stone or put a foam filter media over the intake of the filter itself.

In terms of tips, they should be easy to raise. Feed them crushed flake and keep the water clean. You can feed them baby brine shrimp as well, but flake will do.
