Question about Panda Corydoras

all cories are active.

although if you only get 1 or 2 of them there going to hide.

get a big group then there going to be aorund everywhere.

we moved our panda's into a sand tank - they were LOADS more active in there compared to the pea gravel...

(Wilder - just as a note, over 18months - we've now lost 7 pandas and have just one left. they died in pairs - the smallest ones each time :/ - once we've moved we're trying different a species)

I also had a panda cory as a friend to my Sterbai and Peppered Cories. He too died quite suddenly one day, showed no symptoms at all. Still don't know what caused it. =(

The other two Cories are still going strong. =)

TT.

Thanks will keep an eye on them still going strong at the moment.

I've lost quite a few of them and just kept trying. I find that if I do twice a week water changes, it helps greatly.

Pandas don't seem to have the strong constitutions that some of the other corys have, and they die from bacterial infections that don't even phase the others. If you keep the water very, very clean, you have the best chance of keeping them alive.

I have a tank of panda fry that are coming along nicely, but I'm just doing water changes and keeping my fingers crossed that they will make it to adulthood. :D
