Question about Betta

Hi everyone!

I just had a quick question about bettas:
Do all bettas have a black spot on their heads? Multiple of my lighter color bettas have these, but not sure if this is normal, or just something that may be common in light colored bettas? Any advice appreciated!
Note: both the male, and the female yellow copper have this. One other male has this, but I smaller version… thanks again!

I’ve seen it before but can’t say if they all have it. I don’t think it’s a sign of a problem, if that’s what you mean.

That's his brain and is visible due to the light colouration of the fish. Dark coloured fish have more pigment in the skin and you can't see the brain through the skin.
