i am thinking about buying a python, bucketing 15 gallons or so every time i do water change is killing my back, but what about water conditioner and such, does it put straight tap water in? i am confussed, won't the chlorine kill my bacteria? please help

Put your conditioner into the tank, then add the tap water via the python. Make sure the temperature out of the tap is appropriate.
The amount of conditioner you add to the tank should be the amount you would have added to the bucket of water, ie. the amount of conditioner added should be for the new water, not for the whole tank.

thank you dogfish, that is what my daughter said, but i was not sure. i will buy one today
