I finally steped up to the plate. I bought a python no spill kit. I can not beleive the ease of use. Made changing the water a breeze. I was so excited, I accidentily refilled the tank with cold water (Do'H). the heater had it back to normal after a couple of minutes and the fish are good. I recommend this product to any fish owner without a sink next to their tank! :flex:

Glad to hear that it works for you. haha i have a 55 gal. and no sink near. I have to refill 1 gal at a time.

i buy it on big als 2 days ago. and they have extensions if u have the tank(s) far from a sink :) i'll need a 10 feet extension .so, you can buy it and it'll make your water changes soooooooooooooo but so easy!:)

they have some different adapters for different faucets. and i think one so you can leave it on all the time. look under accessories. i couldn't live without mine

I just bought a Lee's brand 'python' no spill syphon system and I thought I was dreaming. It is well worth the $23 I spent on it,got 25 foot of hose with it. Money well invested. ;)

That picture of the woman is hilarious

I don't know about you but I always make sure and dress up like that to do my tank maintenance... dressing up for the fish is imperative.

how about for ppl with an odd shaped tap? or maybe for ppl who have two odd shaped taps? how would it work with them?
Go to "home depot" or Lowes" or some kind of hardware store, you may be able to get an adapter to change your sink, back to standard faucet, then attach python. Should cost more that 5 or 10 bucks.

It is worth it, the ease of water changes is amazing! :D

Picture is really funny, you are right! :D :D :D

However, when I use my python there is no mess whatsoever, so I guess they trying to imply that.

It is more work tocurl it up for storage afterwards, than water change itself.

Why would anyone want to use buckets?
