So i extended my python using a newly bought garden hose. so now i have 50 ft worth of hose. I set everything up to try out the python and it worked but i had one problem. The siphoning was really slow. It took forever to remove water and since i dont pay the water bill i feel bad keeping the water running that long.

Could it be that its too long? or is it my water pressure? what do i do to fix it?

Another 25 feet of tubing will cost you $25. Get a cheap 25 foot garden hose. Cut the ends off. Slide the Python tubing inside the garden hose, and clamp with radiator clamps. Use the garden hose at either end, it really doesn't matter.

The length of tubing between the thing you stick in the tank, and the flow regulator thingy is only like 3 feet. I took that out, and put 20 feet of tubing in it's place.
