Pvc, New Soil Pipe

Hi all,

I hope i got this in the right section.

I've got a piece of PVC Soil pipe which I think will look good covered in moss and make a great cave for my fish.

Is this stuff safe to use, if so, what would be the best way to prep it?

if it sais abs on it then its safe if not no

You will need to check with the supplier or manufacturer that it has not got any anti fungicide on it as well. As some of the pipes supplied by Screwfix and some other big Hardware chains now have fungicide coating

abs i believe is food grade so its illegal to add petisides/ fungasides

Yep I agree, but when it is a soil pipe it is not designed to carry drinking water so addition of a fungicide is allowed.
