putting molly in new tank

I am geting ready to move my pregnant molly from my big tank to a smaller tank, both the tanks have the same water, I was wondering if just putting her in there may stress her out enough to maybe not have her fry or will it be alright to just put her in there and wait for the fry then move her back?

Should be OK to move here in the other tank and move her back when fry are born

Just be careful not to scare her too much

I reckon it'd be fine. they may not like the smaller space but they'll get over it. if you're worried, you can put a cover over the tank so it's dark and mama will sleep instead of stress. that's what i was told.
I put my prego molly and prego platty in my 5g from my 40g last night and tonight I have new fry!! just don't know who the mama is that's all both mama's are fine tho.
