I really need to make space, I have 5 tanks ATM in a small room and I'm wanting to breed near Xmas. So, I'm dividing two of my 3g's to accomodate 2 bettas in each. I've cut out some supports to silicon to the sides, and I'm currently drying out one of the tanks in preperation. Hannibal's none too happy that he's in a 1/2g cola bottle inside the 15g for the time being, but, tough luck :dunno: . If I silicon in the supports tonight, it should be cured by Friday, which gives me plenty of time to get the canvas to put between. After thats done, the other tank should be easy. So, now to decide who to put with who. I have
Hannibal- Red VT, Relatively aggressive, doesn't flare hugely and I think he's more chilled now he's older
Tiberia- Blue VT, Female, gets breeding stripes at the slightest sight of a male
Vespasian-Yellow CT, Flares a lot, but I'm possibly putting java moss between dividers anyway.
Claudius- White VT, Relatively chilled

I know it doesn't matter hugely, and I can move them about, but who with who? And which colours would look nice together :p

it dosent really matter but it was mine i would proberbly go for one agresive one with a calmer one.So they arn't constantly attacking through the divider at eachother

True, I'll probably put Hannibal with Tiberia as they have this luuurve thing going on :D . One glimpse of him and she looks like a zebra :) The suppots are both in, now just to leave to dry and get some canvas, which hopefully I can get tomorrow.

I couldn't find any plastic canvas stuff so I bought a plastic folder thing that is just as rigid. Siliconed a bit of foam stuff between so its opaque. One sides bigger than the other, but the girly doesn't swim much anyhoo and I'm sure she'll be too busy making love eyes at Hannibal :D . Substrates in too, the divide seems pretty rigid but I'm going to put Hannibal in on his own first to get used to the smaller tank, then when he's a bit more settled, put her in.

Here it is, theres a fern thing to go in each when I've put the water in.

Love the caves, did you make them?? And is that Tahitian moon sand? Looks lovely! Your bettas are lucky fish!

Yeah, I made the slate stuff. The substrate is gravel, stuff from Pets At Home. The tank looks a bit filthy, you can't see it when theres water in there though.
