a few of my bumble snails a purplishy chalky substance on their backs.....Any idea what it could be? I can try to get a picture if nessisary.......

ahh, okay then! so it won't hurt them? I hope that color algae grows on my live rock too! its pretty. Why do you say that? I think that they are cute, but are they meanies?ostrow said:The only problem is that you have bumblebee snails in your tank. Good luck...to your other snails and crabs...

I don't have any other snails or crabs so i'm sure they will be ok
