Ok great, thank you, I hope you have a good weekendThe original wild betta splendens is a soft water fish, but the domesticated bettas we buy have been commercially bred for so long they can live in water from very soft to hard. The only GH I would avoid is in the very hard region.
That is considered soft water. The water should be fine for most fish. Pure water, distilled, and RO water has very zero GH and KH. Fish need some GH for proper health. The GH test only detects calcium and magnesium which fish and plants need. With your GH of 7 you are fine and don't to do anything to it. KH is good because it helps Keep ph stable. You have it so you are good there also.So my GH is 7 and KH is 3, not sure if this is hard?
