Anyway, we decided against importing one as it was going to cost like, £6000 and we managed to find a breeder over here. His dogs are working gundogs and dont do any showing, but hey, its still the same dog so who cares!!
Anyway, the babies were born at 3am this morning, 1 day late, but there are 7 healthy babies, 2 boys and 5 girls!!

So, they're emailing me some more details about the dogs tonight hopefully, now that we know we have one! I think they're sending pics of mum and dad so shall post them up! And should get pics of babies emailed tomorrow!

I know, i love getting new pets

The breeders are sending us pics of mum and dad tonight (i think) dads an import from Holland, and mum is a working dog at their kennels. Then puppy pics over the weekend

Thats great news,i was going to ask you how you went on about finding an import.We are desperatly looking for a new pup and cant find one with a suitable pedigree over here

Are you looking for a toller pup? If so i know of one litter due in 4 weeks, but dont know if they have a waiting list or not The litter we're getting our puppy from is all taken, and apparently the breeder has a 2-4 year waiting list for puppies now

This one is the next best thing to importing a dog as it is already bringing new lines into the coutnry (from the dad), with someone else doing all the hard, and expensive, work!

sorry no not a toller we are wanting a choc mini Dachshund dog but all the choc breeders over here have massive waiting lists and the ones that dont are just breeding willy nilly from pet quality dogs and no thought to what dogs they use

ahh... ok, no i cant help then. I knowe several people who breed the bigger ones from our ringcraft classes, but you dont see the little ones so much Hope you manage to find one though... Maybe try through the kennel/breed club?

i checked out your other thread and all i have to say is pugs can be just as active as any large breed if they are kept in good shape. Most people let their pugs get fat. My friend has a pug that grew up out on a farm. He spends all day running and fighting with a staffordshire mix and a dobie, and chasing birds and tractors. He's all muscle and attitude

those tollers are pretty. I've never heard of them before, but i love those ambery eyes. and unlike a pug, i bet it won't snore (both awake AND asleep) and make weird monkey noises...

Yeah, i only saw Tollers for the first time about 18 months ago and i had no clue what they were, they looked like border collie x golden retrievers to me But they are so new over here i guess not many people will know what they are either...

And my pug is sooooo active!! She torments my labs constantly cos all they want to do in this hot weather is sleep, and she wants to run around and bark She's so much fun though!
