Very nice fish!

Ive seen some of these and they have the most amazing bold red line down them but they are quite expensive too.

Very nice fish, but are they the same as the Rosaline shark?? cause on my LFS they called it that???

I've heard of them being mis-labeled/mis-ident. as Rosaline Sharks, but common name used by most LFS is Red Line Torpedo Barb. There is some talk of two sub-species one white spoted tails the others yellow. Has become a fashion fish and prices range from £10-20 each.

Their shoaling fish and are often mis-sold as individuals. A shoal of five makes them happy and bags of space to swim, minimum 100cm length, brilliant in a Rio 180.

Very nice pics. I see you have them with rasobas. I'm assuming they are fairly peacefull fish and would get along with tetras and the like.

Anyone know how they would do with Angels? There is so little out there about these fish it's tough to get a handle on them, but they seem like the perfect fish for the grouping I have planned. I wanted to do something like 4 angels, a pair of pearl gourami, a few loaches, and some sort of larger schooling fish.

ive seen them called ..

denisoni barbs
red face rasboras
roseline sharks
red face denisoni

the boss put 2 in the same bag when someone bought 2 once and they killed each other before the guy got home.. they were kept in the store with medium sized tetras, but they slowly disappeared.. some larger gouramis.. ive seen them in other stores with little neons..

so i guess they arent too aggressive

i have 7 denisonii and they are stunning.taken me about 5 different tank set ups but as soon as i saw the denisonii,i was smitten.they look even better when fully grown
