Actually, I completely agree with you. It's just that I'm only 12 years old and, although I know how to use the metric system, I can't visualize the lengths or weights. I have no idea how long 50 to 60 cm is, but I could convert it, for example.

Fair enough. This is close enough for goverment work:

100 litres = 20 gallons
30 cm = 1 foot / 12 inches
1 kilo = 2 pounds
