what is a good method besides a sump setup (will come later)

to pump out the water daily i cant make a setup yet just hoses....i have a 29G tank i need to change daily/bi-daily and a 75G twice a week.......so i was thinking about buying a pump for this or is it true that some powerheads have this option???

a automatic way to get water out of the tank...not syphon

Aqua clear powerheads will hook up to clear plastic tubing. You can get a length long enough to reach a bucket, or fit a garden hose fixture to the end of the clear hose & hook it up to a regular garden hose. If you plan on pumping it much over 3 feet higher than the tank you will need a pump. Power heads will not put out that sort of pressure.

You can use the power head/pump to start the syphon, and cut the power, it will continue to syphon as long as the end of the hose is lower than the level of your tank. Saves wear & tear on the pump, as well as a bit of electricity. I do this with my tanks, with a 50 foot hose going to the sump pump in the basement. Beats the hell out of buckets.

yeah but i need soemthing autmatic trying to make it less stress on the fish everything....a AC powerhead looks like what i need i just wanted to make sure they have that option i dont need it to pump up so pressure isnt really needed

if ur trying to do what i think u are, just make sure that the pump won't set up a syphon or u'll end up with an empty tank or a flood
