Would these two make good tank mates if they were a similar size?
 
dragonets stay very small i believe. they also need lots of LR for all the copapods and ish they eat. I think if you even went with a figure 8 or a leapord puffer that those would be bigger than him and supposedly most puffers are aggressive...that's just my $0.02.
 
Agreed, not very compatible im afraid. :*)
Mandarins need a huge amount of liverock to sustain their demanding dietary needs. Puffers grow large, needs lots of space (thats the same requirement as a mandarin) and get very aggressive. Not a good combination sorry :sad:
