Puffer For A 21G

I just found the perfect tank over in Dallas and plan to go pick it up :] they have a freaking 740 gallon tank over there for 24k lol.

Any suggestions are welcome as to livestock that can go with my senegal :]
24K :S
How big is the tank? what sort of fish are you after?

Like I said, I'm doing 125 gallon, 6 feet by 1 1/2 by whatever, and plan to have a senegal, ghost knife, clown loach family, maybe 2 specialty plecs, and IDK what else

Maybe a big cichlid like a severum or chocolate cichlid. Theres quite a few plecs that will work some of the nicest IMO are
Leopard Cactus Pleco

Royal Pleco

Gold Nugget Pleco Theres 3 types the L018 should be fine

But they are slow growing so yo might want to get one thats big enough not to get eaten.

Or you cold go for a group of a bigger type of pims
like Pimelodus ornatus

But ive never kept a senegal so i dont know if any of them would become a meal.

OO sorry
Wont a senegal and the clown fish ruin the plants? clown fish can get 10"+ and i would think they would uproot the plants

Senegal - no. He gets in them and "becomes" them, as in the wild they are ambush predators
Clown loaches - possibly. I dont know. It'd depend on my design and the pathways I leave for them and plant types. I could get wisteria and penny wort so it wont matter then they are uprooted, swords so that they stay stuck in the ground. I would be scared to get bulbs, the loaches might dig that up.

Fair enough. Java ferns might work because they need to be tied/stuck to rocks or wood so there would be no chance of uprooting them.

Yeah, I was thinking about some java. I have a piece of bogwood I can tie it to. I even plan to keep my 40 gallon running too.

Sounds good :good: . I gave up on java ferns because on mater how i tied/stuck them on my male bn would pull them of or if he couldnt he would snap the leaves of lol.

I'll go with java moss maybe. In my old tank everyone loved it.
