I've had my puffers a little while but have had problems getting them to feed. To date
i have tried frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp but they have all rejected them. However, today i was making a prawn sandwich (like you do, lol) and popped a piece of prawn in, a few seconds later it was all munched up :D now the problem is the prawns were from a supermarket and therefore pre-shelled and cooked, so my question is can they be fed on these? (Just until i can get some fresh uncooked prawns from the fish mongers).

Yes these prawns will be fine for now. You can try to soak the glaze off for them which will make them enjoy it more.
Try cockles, mussels and squid, most puffers go crazy for things like that. Also, a general favourite is snails, either from the fish tanks, or most local stores are over run with them and will give you some free.
Or, garden snails are okay if you are sure they haven`t been near any pesticides etc.
Go easy on the snails as the puffers might gorge themselves on them.
I presume the puffers we are talking about are small ones? Ie. Figure eights etc.?

Good luck and hope i helped, oooh, and earthworms from the garden are greatly appreciated too. Again, ones not near pesticides etc.
