hey guys, got a female holding for the first time.

I've got no facility to remove her/separate etc. I'm just wandering, she's currently got eggs in her mouth... what are the chances of the fry surviving in a community tanganiykan (with added demasoni)?

Even if it's just 1.... would that be possible?

Thanks in advance!

why not just get a tiny fry tank? you should have most if not all of them survive

Appreciate your help. I've got two problems though...

a) I wasn't planning on breeding them, it'd just be nice if at least 1 survived
b) I can't catch her even if i tried, due to my setup it'd mean stripping the tank bare to catch her, which would be a lot of hassle + she'd probably lose them anyway from the stress of me chasing her around.

I think i'll just have to let nature take its course.

well if it doesn't bother you if you lose them then give it a shot. If you got a lot of rock work i would say one should survive

Well I have only 1 afra fry that we can see. The fish are still in my 125 gallon tank w/4 only adults and minimal rock work at the moment. It depends on how well the fry can hide. Yes, it's possible for a few to make it.
