A Betta of mine died through whitespot. He was in a tank by himself. I have added the above product (days 1, 2, 3 and 6) and am on day 4. (I laso upped the temperature) However, I have just bought a new Betta.

Will he be ok to go in the tank, bearing in mind I have one more dose to do, or is it best to put him in a bowl, and add him a few days after the last dose?

You should dump out the old tank water and add new. After nuking the tank.

To nuke the tank mix 1 part clorox with 3 parts water. Let it sit for an hour or so, then thoroughly wash it out, until you can no longer smell the bleach. Then sit it out in the sun for a day, this will evaporate any clorox left over.

Then refill your tank and treat the water with dechlorinator.

Don't ever put new fish in old tank water of a diseased fish...that is just asking for trouble. You should also quarentine new fish for atleast a week (2 if at all possible) before adding to a tank that houses other fish/animals. Treating them with Aquarisol and/or a salt bath is a good idea as well. To make ensure they aren't harboring any diseases.
