Right where do start mmm well my firemouth got these small holes in his head and the underneath the head. well at first i thought it was hole in the head but the holes turn in to like groves in the face, and then they started to expand in one direction or eat away the suface of the scales in different directions. :byebye: So i think its more than just hole in the head. So plz can any one shead some light on this serious problem (hurry!) thx for any help! :( :(

sure sounds very much like hith disease but is hard to say for sure with out a pic. This needs to be treated right away. hith is usually linked to water quality so a water change and vacuum of the gravel might be in order.

Aready did a complete clean out of the tank i boiled the gavel just incase anything bad could sneek though me rinsing it. :(

I set up an tank a couple of weeks ago for him to go in and i've recently put him in to it. Sorry i can't show u a pic. I have hole in the head treatment but im not going to use anything till i know exactly what it is.

Ok, I did a little search on the web and came up with these. Have a read...

This site explains a few symptoms of lHexamita Synonym Octomitus like :
Symptoms that you can recognize, are white thread like feces that adhere to the fish for a long time. In the case of discus and others that the disease is fatal to treatment is paramount. It can be easily controlled until it invades the internal organs. At this point the fish will most certainly die.
