if you dont have the facility of being able to attach an air line to ur filter then you are going to have to get an air pump, air tubing 4-6mm, a 1 way flow valve (stops water going back up the tube towards the air pump) and an air stone - depends where you get them but they come in all different sizes shapes and the stones are relatively pence so is the tubing - maybe try to find a place that could sell you a cupple of metres worth to start ??

air pumps go dearer - the more litres of oxygen they produce in a hour also the name of pumps are dearer than others!!

There is also the low tech method of increasing airation. If you lower your water level by about an inch, making the water pour back in the tank from the filter, it will also increase the oxygen. This method works because you are stiring up the water and creating more surface ripples.
