Problem With Sand?

Looks like an algae bloom judging by the color of the floss on the upper part of the filter. Large water changes are needed. My 55g went through this for quite some time before it finally settled down.

the floss is green anyway so that isnt because of the water... quite misleading actually.

how often do you think i should do the water changes and how much each time?

seriously wanna get clear water asap! lol

I'd do a large water change, say 75-80%, every other day.
