Problem With Peppered Cory?

I bought some peppered cories yesterday they all seemed fine until this morning when I spotted one floating upside down in a plant. I thought it was dead so I went to remove it with a net but it swam away. I watched it for a while it seemed to be swimming fine but it suddenly stopped swimming, then started to slowly float towards the top of the water and then started swimming again. Is there something wrong with it?

Have you tetsed your water paremeters?? Try a water change and see if that helps. I cant think what could be wrong but due to having a stupid moment yesturday 1 of my corys kept doing that and I thought it was dead also. My mistake was putting full dose protozin in the tank and poisining them I did a 50% water change and thismorning there all back to active normal self.

Sorry Im not any help but I know someone else will come along with advice.

He's now dead must have been something wrong with him when I got him.

Its part of the hobby. Sometimes you get fish that cant take transporting and adjusting to the new tank/ parameters. Sorry to hear about your loss
