hi guys :D acutally, this problem has been bugging myo ther bettas, not just the new DT that i got :/

i've been trying to feed them pellets, etc, and i notice what most would do is eat it and then spit it out about 5 seconds later, the same applies to peas that i feed them. The only thing that doesn't get spit back out is bloodworms

they were by no means picky eaters, but i dont' know why a betta would eat food and then spit it back out, it sorta drives me crazy becuase i have to psend so much time getting htem to keep their food down!

btw, my kribs have the same issue :/

I think that since they got the taste of bloodworms, nothing else will measure up to the taste.

my cousin got a new betta that would do the same thing with pellets, but after a couple of days he would get used to them and eat them in one bite.

i dont know if yours would do the same thing because he's already tried bloodworms. my cousin only had the pellets.

well i've had my bettas for over a month (the older ones) and it's never been a problem except for the past week or so :/

well....i heard that bettas cant refuse garlic

maybe try puttin a little garlic juice on the pellets....:)

let us know if they start eatting soon

the best of luck.....bettabub

Try taking some bloodworms and mixing it with the pellets. Also, you should try the brank Hikari Betta Bio-Gold, my bettas go crazy for it.
