I got a gold nugget pleco just over a week ago and I still haven't seen him eat. I have exams coming up so i'm in all the time revising and the fish tank is right by where i sit so i see it out of the corner of my eye almost all day and i haven't seen him touch a thing.
He's out all day and never hides away. right now in the tank is a cucumber, courgette, pepper and algae wafers. My other pleco eats constantly and swims straight over when i drop in an algae wafer but my GN just wont eat.
He's also really skittish and flies round the tank constantly in the exact same pattern over and over again!
My water parameters are all perfect, i have tried all the rubbing in garlic, blanching etc. but with no success.
Why is my pleco so skittish and why won't he eat?!?
