Problem with Black Molly

Do you have a bucket or a toy plastic box you can put it in with an airstone, as the warm weather you shouldnt need a heater as it will soon get used to the temp drop anyway

Whats an airstone?

Think its gonna be best to fish out the molly altogether :byebye: and do the water change tomorrow.

Our LFS never told us about hospital tanks, medication to buy "just incase", airstones etc etc. P'd off now!

Put some salt in the container one tablespoon to the gal.

help please,
i'm desperate 6 of my 12 fishes died yesterday and I dont know why this is happening. they dont want to eat anymore and they are swimming at the bottom of the fishtank. could someone please help me.

Start a thread and we will.

We are gonna put the fish in a bucket with 20litres of water and 4 tablespoons of table salt for 10 minutes. Is this right? During this time will do a water change. Should the fish go back in the tank after 10 mins and the water change?

Do the salt bath in another container use the bucket to keep the fish in all the time, don't forget to put a a plastic bag over the bucket with pierced holes in if for air so it can't jump out.

Put the changed or pre-changed tank water in with the salt water?

Sorry if I sound a bit dim, but don't want to get it wrong! :dunno:

Just to let you know that Molly our Black Molly (original eh?) was dead this morning when we checked on him. He was at the bottom of the bucket we had him in, on his side.

My husband has made him a coffin and buried him in our garden. RIP Molly! :byebye:

Sorry for your loss, R.I.P.
