To be honest, I dont actually like it! I like the tank and the idea of it being his TV, but there's too many different types of fish in there.

I'd want it fully planted with huge bits of sumatran roots and caves and things like that, and a real moss carpet, obviously lighting would be an issue, but thats what I'd want, with some of the bigger trops and lots of big shoals of things like harlequis, rosy barbs and serpae tetra.

I think it could look spectacular, but to me that one just looks a bit bland.

Still jealous though

Also, ew at him actually getting in, imagine how much c**p those gars produce if they eat a trout every couple of days...

I seen this a while back, I do think it would look a whole lot better as a species tank. Maybe two species.
Planted would be a must I think. Although I wouldn't want to be paying for the electric bill.

I always forget about the water bill you have over your side of the water. Here in Northern Ireland we have no water bills. They're on about bringing it in around 2014 I think.

Aye I'm serious. There will be uproar when/if they do decide to charge for water though as quite a lot of N.I was without water last winter as the pipes weren't up to standard and bust leaving many people without water.
They'd need to fix all water pipe across the whole country if they want people to pay.

have to say io agree . impressive yes but attractive? no just plain glass box full of water and quite ugly fish . if youre going all out like that then i would want it to look nothing short of spectacular .
