My roommate decided to get out of the marine hobby. He sold me all of his live rock and fish for a steal of $100. I got about 50 lbs of rock and several fish. So I couldnt turn it down. I am thinking now that I need to get rid of some fish.

Here is my tank:
90 Gallon Main tank
20 Gallon Sump
125 Rated Protien Skimmer
100 lbs of Live Rock

Fish:
Blue/Regal Tang-about 4 inches
Auriga Butterflyfish-about 4 inches
4 Clownfish-Medium sized
Firefish-
Royal Gramma-
Yellow Watchman Goby
Coral Banded Shrimp-Small
5 or so Hermit Crabs

Do you guys think this is ok? Water changes how much and frequency?

Thanks!

If i can remember correctly, i think it is one fish per seven gallons and of course using a bit of commen sense with certain large fish. I think you will be ok with what you have unless you are wanting new fish in which you would then have to get rid of a couple.

Sounds good. You have a good protein skimmer and plenty of live rock. I don't think that you will need to remove any of those fish. You can always add a LOT more clean-up crew (eg. snails, hermit crabs, etc..) this will allow you to add more fish. If I were you, I would go to the lfs and purchase a mixture of about 20 or so snails and hermit crabs. This will really help to keep the water free from polution. I also added a phosphate reactor Two Little fishie Phosban reactor this really helped avoid the fear of overfeeding. Also, I would change out about 2 to 5 gallons per week or 10 to 15 gallons per month. I have a 75 gallon and I like to change out 2 gallons every couple of days. It makes it easier so I'm not dealing with heavy buckets and tons of mixings and spilling. Also I feel it is better this way because it doesn't change the temp of the water at all. Good luck.

What are your water stats? If your stats are good and everyone gets on then you should be ok for now.
i would re-home two of the clowns though as they are probably best of as a pair.
The ragal may outgrow your tank too. Water changes at least 10% weekly imo.

Even if you are ok now, the tang will definately outgrow the tank in the futuren (it can grow up to 12 inches). Also, the clowns will probably fight until 2 or 1 are left.

Not worried about the other fish, but the tang and clowns might be a problem in the future.
