Okay, well next week I'll set up the breeding tank and try once more! I will be patient---not one of my inherited traits actually--- and I will put him in there, feed him live food, and pamper him. Then, perhaps we shall see some improvement.
I dunno if she's too dominant. If she is, I doubt Dippy will be less... he is a bit shy-like. He's damn cute though. With that little green patch...
I wish he'd perk up though-- he looks thoroughly pissed at me right now. 
I'd ask why, but I know he'd answer that betta pellets are just simply not acceptable when he knows damn well I have live bloodworms in the fridge! 
Oh god, there I go carrying on conversations with my fish again--my parents think I'm nuts...
