Preparing shrimp

OK, well i bought a pound of shrimp from my super market. I would like to know if it is ok to just peal the shrimp, raw, and drop them in. Should i squeeze the liquid out of the shrimp? just give me any info about how to prepare them before feeding. Thanks!

You may just want to rinse them off before you drop them in and make sure you use small enough pieces so that the shrimp is eaten. Don't want it stinking up the water too bad. Otherwise I say go for it.

Blend or chop them up, shell and all.
