Female guppies will go pink in the moring but after you turn the light on in room or in tank it will go black again in about 5 mins..
The babies face the mothers head at night and what you see in the morning or when the tank light has been out for awhile is the babies tails and body

with the new female I got today she is so see through I can see the eyes and bodies of the babies...

heres a pic of my 3 year old female guppy and my 5 month old female who both are still pregnant
