Hi so I have 2 female and 1 male sword tail.
One of my femaled had 2 baby fry 16th May but her belly never went down.
People said she may still be holding onto her babies.

Skip forward to this morning she had 2 more fry.
She has been acting normal all day until this afternoon and she keeps hiding in the rocks and isolating herself from the rest of the fish and I'm panicking thinking she still needs to give birth to more fry.
So I've ran out and bought her a large fish breeding net to put her in as the other fish won't seem to leave her alone.

Don't really know what to do.
I don't want her getting stressed out but I want to save the babies if she happens to have anymore.
She doesn't ever seem to have a gravid spot either and I check on her everyday.

Help???

Firstly, I would let her out of the netting... It is not necessary and is probably very stressful for her. Secondly, don't panic... if she is giving birth it will be natural for her to go hide among the plants or rocks... Let her do "her thing". She will be far less stressed hiding then being in some netting. Please let her out.
