hello guppy mad. its around about the right time for the platy to give birth. But knowone really can tell how long or when exactly it will finally release the young. Its just the same with all pregnancies.-We do have a an average time, but not an exact. The best thing you can do is prepare yourself for the birth. Wether you are removing the frys as you find them in the tank, or you have a birthing tank or net, make sure you observe the fish as much as possible to be there when it happens. Its a truely grate experience, and not one that often occurs! Hope that helps a little. lark.
