Hi All. I hope you are well.

I have what i think is a pregnant platy. I noticed yesterday and went a bought an floating nursery seperator tank. Couple of months a go i noticed a fry getting eaten in the tank so im trying to avoid that!

I put the fish that i think is pregnant in the floating isolator and tbh hoped she gave birth in the night (i read they often give birth in the dark). This am and she hasnt given birth and im a bit worried about stressing her by keaving her too long in the teeny tank. I tried to give her a little food when i moved her to calm her, she did not eat this food, but has eaten this morning when i fed the whole tank.

Any advice on what to do/how long to keep her in the tank (i dont want to stress her/but dont want to miss losing her fry)

Ive attached some pics - im fairly sure she pregnant

Also, you can see from the pics, she is pooping loads.

In the day before i put her in the tank, a male in the community tank was kinda pestering her. Swimming arround her and rubbing up against her. No idea if she was stressed abot this, but it seemed she wasting returning his rubbing.

Thanks in advance

;)
