pregnant plattys.

I'm really not sure what to do about these plattys they look like they're going to pop.
if i put in a hiding place incase of babys will they know to swim there, before they get eaten???.
help i don't want to get to provide food for the others, just save some babys.

I'm afraid it's nature some will be eaten, if there is plenty of hiding spaces and plants most of them will survive, good luck.

hey how old were your platies before they started to breed? or how old are they in general before they breed?

thanks for the info, how long are they pregnant for , what are the signs that they are going to give birth,
they seem to have been fat for about 6 weeks,
