Pregnant Molly?

Hi, Ive just been to buy some algae treatment for my tank and spotted this molly so made a purchase ont he off chance she's gonna have some babys. The woman in the shot (Petsathome) seemed fairly clueless.

So heres a photo, its not the best angle, she looks really far face on, what do you think?

(oh and its SO hard getting a good photo of a fish)

hm hard to tell with mollies but if she was in a mixed sex tannk then she probably is

congrats she is pretty, i have a few of these myself. she does look pregnant to me and maybe a week or two not 100% sure but others will tell you.

new molly just gave birth! woohooo

i can see 5 so far, and one filter fatality

Congrats on the fry, are you seperating or going survival of the fittest route?

i put the pregnant molly in her own tank, so ive removed her and put her in my other tank now shes given birth so the fry are all on their own.

nope just feed them small amounts a few times a day

Just feed them is not enough for good growth. Frequent water changes are also needed. You should do more water changes than you would normally think are necessary.
