They'll find it. They are smart little things. Also, if you have live plants, they'll eat the organisms off those too.

As for the cycling suggestion before....that won't cycle your tank. It may give you a tiny kickstart, but your tank would certainly not be fully cycled and you'd still have the risks and stress on the fish.

Alright, thanks. Should I still crush up the food and put it over in the plants they would be hiding in? Or should I just feed all the fish as I normally do?
 
Heres a simple solution:
1. Get a 10 gallon tank with filter ect ect
2. Steal 10 gallons from the main tank and some gravel from the main tank
3. wait 2 days its ready for fish


LOL! That's an excellent idea, but the problem is that my main tank is only 10 gallons. :(
Well you can add 2 gallons every week from the main tank into the fry tank for 5 weeks and then that can help.
