Hi shes preg for the first time I think and is acting strange to me but is not squared off yet. She twitches her tail left and right but holds it. She also hangs out by the heater alot and eats non stop compaired to the male and the other female. The other thing I worry about is that she is a normal molly and the male is a sailfin dalmation... so not sure if that is messing her up? but her twitching has been going on a good 3 or 4 days.

The water is fine, been testing it and she is the only fish doing it in the tank. I turned the temp up to 80/82 from 78 after I noticed her by the heater so much.

I will try to get a video up tomorrow.

Hi there, mrpleco, welcome to the forum.

Can you give us some more details, please?

How big is your tank, how long has it been set up and what fish are in it (species and numbers)? What are the actual numbers from your tests, and what sort of test kit are you using? Is your water hard or soft?

Hello, I have a female Dalmatian molly too but she isn't pregnant.
I can't comment on the twitching but my molly also likes to hang out round the heater and she also eats a lot. She has been this way ever since she was moved to a larger tank 5 months ago. (In the old tank the heater was in a hidden conpartment rather than inside the tank itself.) I've always assumed its fairly normal as she seems healthy and happy.

Hope this helps a little.
