Pregnant Dalmation Molly

That makes life easier,
Either using a small piece of airline hose and suck up the bits or using your finger rub it over the bottom to clear off the gunk, and gently pull the trap up about halfway to let the water out, then gently lower it again, this will push out some of the bits and give the fry fresh water into the trap, depending how your filtration is,i find the water becomes 'still' in the trap,so lifting it up and down keeps it circulating in the trap.

20% w/c would be good daily :good:

brill that very helpful,
Its ok for fish aint it, they dont pay the water bill.
Thought i was something like 20%, think i saw it on here.
For how long do i keep that up for

sorry about things posting twice, my phones playing up.

You might be able to get away with the w/c daily, but fry release a growth hormone,so doing w/c daily will encourage them to grow better.
I have 4 guppy fry in the main tank that haven't got eaten has yet, they're a few weeks old now,and they're growing ok,with just a weekly w/c so really its up to you.
I have 300 + fry in my fry tank, and its just habit to do the daily w/c now.

Your fry will soon out grow the trap,so you will need to decide what to do with them.

Hello, Im new to the website and still learning how to use it. I think my female molly is pregnant and if so when will she have her fry. If you would like to see pics i have them but i just cant get them on here but i can email them. Please help

To post pictures here is easy Chelsey. First you open an account with a place like photobucket, then load a picture there. Once they have a picture, you copy the link that has the [img ] codes on the picture. On photobucket, it is marked as IMG Code. Then you paste the code into your post here as if it was just a part of the text you are typing. The end result is something that looks like it was posted here but is really located somewhere else, like this picture I caught of a young harbor seal when I was on vacation in Oregon.

i use photoshop cs4, all you do is save for webpage or device and resize it so it dont go above 100kb,

Yeah this is the problem i only have a 165L tank so prob only this lot i will keep, couple of mates interested in buying them.

Ok im sorry my pics are to big im trying to find out how to get them some. If i could email them to you if may be easyer

If you have a picture too big for a place like photobucket, make a copy of your picture and then use a picture editor to "resize" the picture. Almost any camera comes with the software needed for such a simple task. I resize my 4 megabyte pictures, my camera uses 10 megapixels, to be an 800 x 600 pixel picture and suddenly it is easy to post them on photobucket. You must use a copy unless you want to lose the detail in the original picture. My harbor seal pup picture is only 800 x 536 pixels on photobucket, but as you can see, it comes out fairly good quality on a typical computer screen.
